This short collection of love poetry was, quite simply, inspired by love: the loss of love, the pain of love, the need to be loved, (deny it if you wish, but we all need to know we are loved), and of knowing what it is to be loved. It's the most powerful of emotions, (it can lift you or drag you down to the depths of despair), and maybe the most powerful emotional journey we will take.
We give everything to love...expressing that love in so many different ways; three simple words, I Love you.., said a million times , every day across the world, with a single rose , even a simple look that says you hold my heart in your hands....keep it safe...
If we know how to love, and express that love, we know how to dream - and when we dream - well, there's no stopping us is there?
It isn't as simple as that though, it never is - if you think of our lives and of this world we live in, we ride our tide of emotions every single day through those global news images we see, bringing to us everything that makes us what, and who we are…fear, anger, loathing for the acts of man, and maybe, hope, we all need that or we would never find love, and without that, we're nothing…
